Welcome to VerWhisker. By accessing or using our CLI tool, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. License Grant
VerWhisker grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the VerWhisker CLI and Cloud Dashboard in accordance with your subscription plan or lifetime license tier.
2. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING LIABILITY:
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We do not guarantee 100% vulnerability detection accuracy. Security scanning involves complex heuristics and third-party data sources that may contain errors or omissions. You bear the sole risk of using VerWhisker for critical decision-making. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerWhisker disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the VerWhisker binary.
- Use the service to scan systems or code you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
- Resell or redistribute your license key to third parties.
- Use the service for any illegal or malicious purpose.
4. Fair Use Policy & Anti-Abuse Rules
VerWhisker Founder's Edition (LTD) provides lifetime access to our cloud services. To ensure high performance for all users, we enforce the following Fair Use Policy:
4.1 Fair Usage Limit
Lifetime Deal accounts are intended for standard human or team-based workflow usage. While we do not strictly cap the number of uploads, we reserve the right to throttle or terminate accounts that exceed10x the average user's consumption or place an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure (e.g., continuous polling every second).
4.2 No Scraping or Data Mining
You may not use the Service to scrape, mine, or extract data for the purpose of creating a competing database or training AI models. Automated API calls are permitted only for legitimate CI/CD integration purposes.
4.3 Non-Transferable License
The License Key is for your internal use only. You may not lease, rent, resell, or distribute access to the API to third parties. Account sharing outside of your authorized team is strictly prohibited.
Enforcement: We reserve the right to throttle or terminate accounts found violating these rules without refund.
5. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a license, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service in addition to ours.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for our Lifetime Deal (LTD) if the software does not work as described on your system.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, particularly regarding API abuse (Rate Limiting) or sharing of Pro license keys.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Taipei, Taiwan.
